Going to be a rainy week – Late birthday wishes to my dad, Tom the Bomb!

Since Saturday night, it has been storming on and off around here, with moments of heavy rainfall and strong wind. Although I prefer the sun to be out on a weekend, I would take the warm weather and rain over snow anytime. Jenny and I are going to be driving up to Eau Claire, Wisconsin this Wednesday, and I’m hoping it won’t be thunder-storming the whole way up.

On my dad’s birthday yesterday, we ate really good steak, and my dad got a ton of presents. I gave him a really cool big wooden Eagle, my brother gave him 3 really cool pairs of expensive Nikes, and my mom gave my dad some nice looking shirts. I’m glad everyone had a great time at my house, and I’m glad everything was easy to clean up after everything left! Happy birthday again dad AKA Tom the Bom!

Gave Jenny Her Birthday Present

Since we won’t be home next week to celebrate Jenny’s birthday here, I decided to give Jenny her Playstation 3 earlier today. I bought her her favorite game, but I got it for the wrong system, which means another trip back to by my parents house to return it. I don’t mind the drive, but it’s a waste of gas to go back and forth. I really want her to start playing her Playstation 3 soon, so we’re going to go return it today. I can’t believe I didn’t notice that it was for Xbox 360..

Camping in Michigan Soon

My brother, his girlfriend, my fiancee, and I are planning on going on a camping trip to the Michigan dunes. I’m really excited to go camping there, and it’s going to be a lot more fun with my brother there and his girlfriend. It was a good idea on his end to come up with the idea of camping in the dunes in the first place, and It’s a perfect idea!

Jenny already purchased most of our camping accessories, but now it’s my turn to buy the tend and get the rest of the camping gear. I’m thinking about purchasing a twelve person tent with two rooms, so my brother and his girlfriend have their own room, and it also have a sheltered in porch. I’m planning on setting up the trip for either late May or early June. It’s going to be a great time.

Jenny’s Buying Me A New Aquarium!

When I woke up this morning, Jenny surprised me and told me she’s going to lend me the money to buy a brand new, more modern looking, aquarium. It was very nice of her to let me barrow some money for it, and I’m excited to see what other aquariums are available out there. I’ve also just noticed last night that three of my Ghost Shrimp have eggs, so hopefully that means a lot more of them! They are some of the coolest invertebrates I have seen for freshwater fish tanks.
